A brand new GT150 beam centrifuge for the Los Alamos lab
The prestigious Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has invested in a Broadbent GT150 beam centrifuge. With its 3m radius and a total weight of around 17 tonnes, this advanced machine can carry a payload of 150 g-tonnes and has a maximum rotational speed of 250 rpm. The unit also includes a drive system, control system and a Broadbent G-Max data acquisition system (DAS) together with associated network connections and a slip ring stack.
