Our support services
Broadbent Laundry has the resources and capability to support not only its own product range but those of many other laundry equipment brands. Our customer support facility is one of the largest in the UK: our strategically located field service engineers are complemented by experienced service administrators who can help you with any spares and service support you might need.
All our engineers are fully trained on all of our suppliers’ products and every Broadbent field engineer vehicle carries a comprehensive spares package. As a result, most repairs are resolved quickly and conveniently on a first visit.
Breakdown Cover
With a large team of engineers around the UK, we are well equiped to respond to breakdowns. We provide an out-of-hours contact service and our engineers are trained in a wide range of disciplines to keep you up and running.
Spare parts
We carry a huge inventory of spares at our Huddersfield HQ; in our secure stores everything is managed by our ERP system and the ISO9001:2008 quality system. Of course we carry spare parts for the full Vega Systems product range but having been Lavatec dealers for 20+ years we carry a large number of spares for legacy Lavatec machines as well as Primus, Passat and Amko machinery. It’s always worth checking with us for any laundry spares enquiries.
Planned maintenance
We are able to offer tailored service level agreement to suit your operation. We can supliment your own planned maintenance or we cann offer comprehensive support packages. We can provide temporary or long term engineering cover or specialist services; call us to discuss the options.
Gas Servicing
We have a number of experienced Gas Safe engineers qualified to work on industrial laundry machinery. Our Gas Team have received authorised training from most of the major burner manufacturers and we commission all of our own gas machinery. We can certify gas services on dryers, tunnels and ironers from many manufacturers. Make sure you are covered by the most qualified team in the business.
Machinery Surveys
Our experienced electrical and mechanical engineers are able to provide ciriticality reports and machine condition reports to help laundries mitigate risks to their service. We are able to offer full machinery refubishment packages either on site, or back at our dedicated repairs division.
Training / optimisation
Our commissioning engineers are able to provide training on operation of our own and other laundry systems. In addition, we can provide consulting and optimisation services to make sure that you are getting the most from your machinery and your process.
Process validation
For customers who have to comply with hygienic guidelines or need traceability of their process; Broadbent can offer independent process monitoring and process validation services. Broadbent can help design your processes and then provide the test and reporting service to measure compliance
Controls & Software
For our existing Lavatec customers with obsolete B&R control systems, we can offer the latest generation of hardware combined with new software, which is rigorously tested around the world. Our systems can receive remote support with several full-time software engineers available to provide backup and keep you running. We can provide anything from small bespoke PLC solutions to control upgrades for complete monorails and washing systems. Benefit from the latest hardware, availability of spares and solid support.
