University of Birmingham UK order GT6 centrifuge
The Mosaic Company developed the capability to increase the feed to the K2 Potash mill dramatically. To accommodate the additional feed, centrifuge and dryer capacity needed to increase unless the centrifuges could also decrease the load to the dryers.
Broadbent Geotech division have been awarded the order to supply a GT6/0.75 geotechnical centrifuge and ancillary items to the University of Birmingham School of Engineering.
The GT6 unit is a small scale centrifuge and is available with options allowing operation both as a beam and/or drum centrifuge. GT6 systems have been supplied to various institutions around the world including Manchester University (UK), University of Brighton (UK), IT Sligo, with further units installed in Brazil, Canada and Russia.
